15 Pre Columbian Mezcala Beads

These 15 Pre Columbian beads from Guerrrero State in western Mexico range from 1/4" to over 3/8" in diameter and the elongated bead in the top row center is 5/8" long. The beads are made of the mottled dark green stone sometimes referred to as 'cultural jade', and the ones in this particular lot have extremely good color and symmetry. The beads are all bi-conically drilled and retain varying degrees of their original polish.

From now through the end of 2009, I will be selling a collection of artifacts, antiquities, relics, and antiques assembled over the past 45 years. All items were legally acquired, are guaranteed to be authentic, and I offer a guaranteed full refund of the purchase price if returned in the same condition as sent within 3 weeks of the date of sale.
