ONLY AROUND 100 YEARS AFTER THE JAMESTOWN SETTLEMENT IN VIRGINIA AND THE SETTLEMENT OF THE PURITANS AT PLYMOUTH IN MASSACHUSETTS. KEEP IN MIND THIS WAS PRINTED OVER 60 YEARS BEFORE THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR! (SAME SIGNATURE ON THE TOP OF THE EPISTLE TO THE READER). FINALLY WILLIAM AUGUSTUS PECK HIS BOOK 1739 SO APPARENTLY PASSED DOWN FROM EITHER FATHER TO SON OR BROTHER TO BROTHER. Colman's work is one of the earliest works to deal with what was the then developing Newtonian science.
