1715 Fleet Atocha Collectors Concepcion Shipwreck 1641 Coin In Silver Bezel COA

Up for bids is this authentic shipwreck coin recovered off of the Spanish galleon Concepcion. The four real silver coin has been professionally mounted in a sterling silver bezel. The conception was lost when it ran aground on a reef in September of 1641( less than 20 years after Mel Fisher's Atocha sank) in an area now known as The Silver Shoals. This beautiful, high grade coin is NOT a replica and comes with a photo-certificate of authenticity hand-signed by specialist in shipwreck coins and artifacts Daniel Frank Sedwick who is also the author of "The Practical Book of Cobs".
The shipwreck coin artifact exhibits excellent details with a full cross and lions and castles present. The obverse shows most of the shield and a partial denomination numeral 4. The photo certificate shows the coin along with a detailed description of it. It also states and pictures a sterling silver chain but unfortunately the chain was broken so is not included in the auction.
The coin is however, ready to be hung on your favorite silver or gold chain.
The pictures are all of the exact coin and COA you are bidding on with the exception of the last two pictures which are for reference only.
