This set comes direct from the library at Newton Hall, the 18th century country house and estate in Northumberland, with a pencil shelfmark to the front free-endpapers, and the armorial bookplate of author S. E. Widdrington to the front pastedowns.

Bound in leather with gilt lettering and decoration.
