1795 50C 2 Leaves AU55 PCGS. O-125, High R.4. A 9 x 8 berries configuration on the obverse, with the variety confirmed by the two outside right berries and the leaftips to the left of the second A in AMERICA. The reverse die is also prominently clashed in a line from the bottom of the eagle's left (facing) wing. Very scarce variety aside, this is simply an attractive Flowing Hair half dollar, minimally worn with remarkable detail on Liberty's portrait. Deep reddish and blue-gray colors cover most of each side, and while the peripheries show a measure of softness, the overall eye appeal is excellent. For the multitudinous Two Leaves 1795 half dollar varieties, Population: 23 in 55, 34 finer (10/10).From The Eagle Harbor Collection, Part Two. Grade: 55, Service: PCGS, Service No.: 6052, Issue Date: 1795, Denomination: 50C
