1800's Manhattan Silver Plate Co. Centerpiece Bowl Art Deco Very unique 1800's Art Deco Style Centerpiece Bowl by the Manhattan Silver Plate Co. Extremely Beautiful and Very Unique. The bowl is trimmed in front with leaves and apples with a rope twine underneath to hold the leaves and apples up and outward. The handles are made from the what appears to be large vine or limbs to serve as handles. The legs are super unique they also appear to be large vines or limbs that are curved and shaped with a hoof type foot on the center four limbs and the outer four are just shaped vines or limbs to serve as feet for the bowl. The bowl stands 5" inches tall and 8" inches in diameter. This item is a piece you would see in a museum on display to show the creativeness of the silversmiths in the mid to late 1800's. This centerpiece would be consider art rather than a serving piece. No plate loss and in very good condition. It has been very well preserved. The pictures have a tint but this is coming from w something was reflecting on the silver. The item is in very good condition with NO plate loss. Other than a few small specs in the bottom and t is a small inward dent on the bottom of the bowl. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Thank You For Viewing My Listing!
