Quarto. Unpaginated. Binding measures 10 3/4 inches tall by about 9 1/2 inches wide and 4 inches thick. Boxed up, the book weighs about 8 pounds. Early (likely original) full leather binding. The binding shows rubbing and wear but is quite sound. The hinges are secure, and the leather is still supple. Two blank flyleaves, slightly smaller, are crudely hand-sewn into the front. The rear flyleaf is detached but present.

This is the First Edition of the New Testament of Scott's Bible, which was one of the most popular Bibles printed in the United States in the early and mid-19th century. We have the New Testament only. The larger set came in 4 or 5 volumes. The Old Testament was
