I live on the South coast of England, and discovered this document among my late father's possessions some years ago. I have no idea how he came by it, and am only selling because my three grand daughters are completely uninterested in anything that doesn't make a loud noise, have flashing lights, or break easily. It starts 'Will and Burials No. 37.,John Toms Slater deceased, Will Recorded, April 11th 1832 State of Tennessee Davidson County' It is the last will and testament, attested and then continues with other attestations in front of the Governor. Please enlarge the attached photo to see more detail. The condition is very good, with only a small amount of staining at the bottom of the front page. You can just see this from the photo. There are also some very small holes where this ancient document has been folded. Feel free to ask me any question about this fascinating document, and have a look at my other related documents that I also have for sale. Will combine postage, which is quoted for one document air mail from United Kingdom to USA. Thank you for looking.
