1847 Autograph Letter signed on stationery with engraved birds-eye view of Brighton, England.9 by 14 sheet folded to make 4 pages -- featuring a 5 by 7 inch engraved "birdseye view taken from the top of Queen's Hotel," of "King's Road Brighton." Published by J. Smith; engraved by T. Jeavons. 3 page handwritten letter from Mr. R. H. Poole to his wife at home, 52 St. Peter St., Quebec. Postmarked in Brighton, Dec. 1847. Mr. Poole asks about the couple's two children, little Maude and the new baby -- whom he hopes she will name "Isabel Sophia." He is visiting family in Brighton. The letter is worn, esp. at the folds; and there are chips/small holes which do affect the engraved view slightly -- but it is still quite nice and a highly detailed engraving.Shipping Anywhere In The United States Media Mail $4; International Shipping $15Please Note: We accept PayPal, but also accept all credit cards.
