1847 Rogers Bros. FIRST LOVE 39 Pcs. Serves 6 LOVELY!

We are pleased to offer 39 pieces of silverplated flatware in the coveted First Love pattern by 1847 Rogers Brothers. Introduced in 1937, this pattern is classified as "collectible" by Tere Hagan in Silverplated Flatware, Revised Fourth Edition. The winning bidder will receive the following: six 8 1/2-inch hollow handle grille or viande knives with stainless steel blades, six 7 3/4-inch grille or viande forks, six 7 3/8-inch tablespoons or oval soup spoons, six 6 3/4-inch salad or dessert forks with cut-out at base of tines, twelve 6 1/8-inch teaspoons, two 8 3/8-inch serving spoons, and one adorable 5 7/8-inch sugar spoon. Grille or viande knife blades are marked "1847 Rogers Bros. Stainless". All other pieces are marked "1847 Rogers Bros." and "I S." Upon inspection, we note some horizontal scratches on the tines on a couple of the salad or dessert forks. We also note a bit of pitting on one knife blade and some slight damage to the end of one other blade. Finally, we note very slight wear at the end of the bowl on one of the serving spoons. All pieces are otherwise in good to very good condition, with no other apparent plate loss or damage. Very nice! Please ask questions before bidding and be sure to see our other listings for more First Love pieces. We're always happy to combine items (ending within a few days of each other) ... read more
