Antique clear pressed flint glass miniature toy pitcher with ten vertical panels in original as found condition. Sandwich , MA., 1850-1865. See Spillman #476-477. Guaranteed old and original; this is not a fake or reproduction. Actual weight 1/4 lbs. 2 1/16" tall by 2 1/8"spout tip to handle edge. Clear pressed flint glass miniature toy pitcher with ten vertical panels in original as found condition . All of the glass in this estate was in three cupboards in the dining room. When we inspected the estate we were told former owners "collected old glass". Dissecting this, we determined that they DID "collect old glass" but did this by occasionally purchasing "OLD GLASS" from a local house sale, auction or community benefit sale. This classic miniature toy pitcher was in a cupboard. A member of the family purchased this at a local church benefit sale. They said that they owned it for a long time before determining that it was a "valuable" miniature toy. This came about after several efforts to purchase the pitcher caused the family to force the information from a pursuer of it. Once designated as desired, it has been imbedded in the cupboard collection for the last seventy-five years. Very good as found condition.
