Offered at no reserve is a sterling silver teapot made in the early 1860's by the prestigious silversmith Shreve Stanwood & Co of Boston (1860 - 1869). So marked as well as sterling. The detail on this piece is excellent, it is very crisp and does not show any sign of ware. This piece is in excellent condition without any dents, dings or problems of any kind. Looks as if it were made yesterday and not 140 years ago. 8 1/4 inches tall and 8 1/4 inches wide, weighing 28 oz. This pot would sell up to a thousand dollars at a quality antique store but I'm starting it at only $9.00 with no reserve and let's see ebay work it's magic.
