Description This is an Amazing, Super Rare, Early Confederate Civil War Presentation sword. This wonderful Old piece has a Great, Early design, with a Brass & Leather grip and Brass Scabbard, is marked "CSA - Nashville Plow Works", has what appears to be an early Museum label/tag that reads "John Brown - Tenn.", measures approx. 42" long overall, is an exceptionally Rare piece to Find and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. Unfortunetly, somew in it's past, the blade was cleaned, removing it's Original patenia and most of the engraving, but it still lightly reads, "Gen J.C. Brown Oct. 3 1862". This was recently aquired from a Very Impressive Antique Militaria collection in Virginia, in which only the finest was included, and this is believed to be an Original, Civil War period item. If you will look at our feedback, you will see that we've sold 100's of Original, Period Civil War items, and those buyers have always been very pleased with authenticity.
