This is a Oct.14,1881 Harper's Weekly Magazine with Political Satire Cartoon front cover "The New Atlantic Flying Machine" by Ty:Nast. Inside is a photo-mechanical printing of players the 1881 Chicago Cubs winner of the newly formed National Baseball Leauge. Has names under each of the players plus a very interested article.Also included is other drawings,articles,and advertising. This magazine came from a bound edition that was carefully removed. Does show some age wear and some spine wear from being removed. In the next few weeks I will be selling individual magazines that was in Bound Volumes and most are from the late 1800's to Early 1900's.This magazine as well as the others that I will be listing will be sold in ***AS IS CONDITION and with ***NO RETURNS***. If anything has been removed it was like that when I got them. Some may have some tiny tears and maybe a tiny bit of staining. Also these magazines have been in storage for many years and may have a bit of a musty smell to each one. Each magazine that will be sold will measure approx. 11" x 16".
