1883 United States Naval Academy Class Ring of Naval Constructor

This 1883 United States Naval Academy ring is made of 14k gold, tested, and a dark colored stone belonged to Samuel W. Armistead who graduated in 1883. He was a Naval Constructor at Mare Island naval shipyard in Vallejo, California and he was killed in an accident there in 1895. The ring has his name inscribed on the inside and it also has a chip in the stone near the "A". The ring shows wear, but shows great and would make an excellent display item or could still be worn. Please review the pictures and email any questions. Shipping add $15.00. Thanks!
