This is an original 1893 limited edition (112 of 1000), color typogravure of a painting by American artist, Amanda Brewster Sewell. The actual image measures 6.5 x 12.5 inches.

The World Columbian Exposition was held from May to October 1893 in Chicago in honor of the 400th anniversary of Columbus' discovery of the new world.
