RARE 1896 A.E. MEEK STEAMER TRUNK~USED ONBOARD THE "S.S. EMPRESS OF FRANCE" 1923

We are offering for auction a very Rare Steamer Trunk from A.E. Meek Trunk & Company 1892. There are very old labels on this trunk showing it was used on a cruise in 1923 onboard the S.S. Empress of France Ocean Liner.
The trunk is in need of restoration but is still very sound. The bottom is a little loose and the leather handles are missing but stil in fairly good condition for being about 120 years old.

This old trunk does have a lot of history to it. It has a flat top, four boards across the top, two boards around all sides, ALL original metal hardware ( hinges, latches, rivets, brass nails) still intact, metal lock reads...Eagle Lock Co. Terryville, CT Pat'd June 13, 1882. Dec, 6 1892.
