18th Century Hand Blown Cut Glass Decanter Presented is an old late 18th or early 19th century blown and cut glass decanter with stopper. The bottle has a classic three ringed design around the neck and the body is fluted towards the neck with panel cutting. T is a ribbed border around the base of the bottle. The top of the stopper has a large, cut starburst design. The stopper fits the bottle, but is probably not the original as it is not a perfect fit. The stopper is certainly old and the style is fine. The overall condition of this piece is very good, especially for its age. T is some chipping to the underside of the stopper, but it is impossible to see while the stopper is in the neck and of no importance. T are some surface scratches to the exterior of the decanter especially around the widest part of the body. T is of course wear to the underside w the decanter would touch the table. T are no other chips, no cracks, no splits and no repairs. The bottle measures 10 1/4 inches tall.
