1902 Pennsylvania RR & Shore Line Timetable

Original, vintage timetable for the Pennsylvania Railroad and Shore Line, advertising "through trains, Washington, Philadelphia, Boston." Dated June 16, 1902.
One sheet, printed both sides, 12 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches, folded to make four panels each side of 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Color panel on front has some scuffing on the right top and some darkening at the lower right.
The brochure consists of:
Inside four panels:
1. "Colonial Express (and) Federal Express, through times and car service between Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Boston....Eastward." 2. Same, but times "Westward." 3 & 4. Explanation of service: "By Day or Night Between Washington and Boston." Illustrated with scenes of train interior: Smoking Car (panel 3) and
Sitting Room (panel 4). Text mentions views from the train, amenities (including on board restaurant) and other amenities.
Front and back four panels:
1. Cover. 2. Explanation of service, continued. Illustration of "The Buffet" showing African-American waiters dishing up foot.
3. Map of route. 4. Back cover illustration of George Washington.
