1905 Letterhead, KEMPSHALL GOLF BALLS, New York NY

DESCRIPTION: This item is a very nice antique letterhead, dated September 1, 1905. The letter was sent from The Kempshall Manufacturing Company, “The Kempshall Golf Ball,” 475 Broadway New York NY, Factory Office, Arlington NJ. It was sent to Harry W. Reinhart, Scranton PA (Harry Reinhart was the owner of a large sporting goods store in Scranton PA in the early 1900s). The letter is typed, and refers to a recent request for “Kempshall

CONDITION: This letterhead is in excellent overall condition. There are no tears; the paper is strong; printing sharp. It has several light folds from original mailing, and minor age discoloration as would be expected in a piece of this age. Our scan clearly shows the closeup details of the piece. It measures 8 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches high; the back is blank.
