1906 Charles Dana Gibson, The Gibson Book Complete Vols I and II, First Edition

Book Descriptions: Charles Dana Gibson, The Gibson Book I and The Gibson Book II. These two volumes comprise the complete set. They were published in New York in 1906 by Charles Scribner's Sons and are a compilation of eleven smaller Gibson Books published around 1900 by R. H. Russell & Charles Scribner's sons. First Edition. Both volumes are un-paginated, but contain from 300-400 pages each of full page Gibson drawings. The covers are in gilt print on red beveled boards. Some minor scuffing to boards, and hinges are cracked in both volumes (typical of this set). The binding is strong and the pages are clean. These are large size oblong volumes measuring approximately 11 ½" x 17 ½". Heavy weight requires extra postage. The classic collection of drawings by the creator of "The Gibson Girl."
