DESCRIPTION: This attic find consists of a small white shoebox full of memorabilia from a 25th wedding anniversary celebration that took place in 1911. The couple was married in 1886. These were lovingly preserved by the couple's daughter who carefully labeled each little thing in her neat hand.
Items included: two green tissue paper party hats, one for him and one for her a very pretty little tin litho watering can, colors still very bright, condition like new a large paper doily small white bisque cherubs guilded china slipper and ring with white china dove a tiny broom crepe paper baskets which probably held mints or nuts; decorated with wax flowers tiny bride and groom figures tiny booklet titled "Boy Scout Transfer Pictures" two slips of paper from Christmas crackers - with riddles a sweet poem for the married couple from their two children
CONDITION: All very well preserved
