1916 Famous Barr Joe Gedeon Banned w 1919 Black Sox

Hello...Up for auction is a Rare 1916 Famous and Barr Co card #66 of Joe Gedeon!!! Gedeon was an infielder for the Yankees and St Louis Browns. He was also friends with Swede Risberg who was the Short Stop on the infamous 1919 Chicago White Sox team that lost the 1919 World Series to the Cincinnati Reds !!! Risberg is alleged to have tipped Gedeon off about the 1919 World Series fix and he in turn made some money betting on the Series. Joe Gedeon was then banned by Commissioner Landis along with the 8 "Black Sox" players in 1921 for knowing about the fix and not reporting it. He is considered the "9th Man Out"!!!
The card is in Very Good Condition , with its only flaw being some paper loss on the front but this card has an Excellent clean back !! Buyer pays $4.00 for shipping and insurance of $2.50 is required ! I will ship international but shipping costs will be more. Payment is due with in 7 days after the end of the auction.
