1916 National Parks Portfolio Department Of The Interior

For Your Consideration....
National Parks Portfolio -- Department Of The Interior 1916
****Important/Please Read: This portfolio originally contained nine brochures. Please know that the brochure for Mesa Verde is absent and is not included. All of the other eight brochures are there.
Condition: Wonderful. With the exception of tiny amount of pencil mark notations and subtle blemishes, here and there, these brochures are in very nice condition.
Here is a Description of the National Parks Portfolio that I found Online:
In 1916, a portfolio of nine major parks was published by the United States Dept of the Interior to generate interest in them. Printed on each brochure was a map showing the parks and principal railroad connections. There were 9 parks at the time and this is the complete original 1916 set with the Introduction/Contents leaflet by Franklin K Lane, Sec. of the Interior and Stephen T Mather who was Assistant to the Secretary in Charge of National Parks at the time, the portfolio itself printed on khaki canvas on paper and the 6" x 9" illustrated park brochures which are each 20 to 25 pages in length, the parks are Yellowstone, Yosemite, Sequoia, Mount Rainier, Crater Lake, Mesa Verde, Glacier, Rocky Mountain and the Grand Canyon.
Again, the brochure for Mesa Verde is absent and is not included.
