Highly collectible McCoy stoneware pitcher in blue. The swastika symbol on the pitcher, although associated with the Nazi's as a symbol on their flag, was a symbol used by many cultures and countries for over 3000 years before the Nazi's used it, it was a symbol of ostentatiousness and in Indian culture a Good luck symbol. Buddhists and Hindus consider it a special religious symbol. McCoy stoneware pitcher measures 8 1/2" high; 8 1/2" from spout tip to handle; 6" in diameter on bottom. It is in good condition. It has original manufacturing imperfections, common to this type of stoneware. Solid blue is less common than brown and other versions of this pitcher.
