1920s Sterling Silver Simons S Scroll Gold Band Thimble

If you are the high bidder on more then one of my auctions please wait until I e-mail you an invoice. This is a 1920's Sterling Silver Simons Brothers Co. Gold Flower And S Scrolls Band Thimble. In the apex (inside top) is the sheild in the shape of an upside down bell with a script S in the middle. Below this it is stamped STERLING SILVER. The gold band has flowers and S scrolls. T is a space for engraving to the side is the size 8. Collectors sometimes call these bands 'applied gold bands' but Simons made them by fusing together sheets of gold and silver for the thimble blank. After the thimble was formed, the thimblemaker will cut away the gold above the band before applying the knurling. T are no holes and it is in round. The thimble is 13/16" tall, and the diameter of the opening is 9/16". The only thing I ask of the internationally bidders is that they please speak English and can communicate with me.
