Up for auction is an Elegant Vintage Pink Depression Glass Footed Creamer and Sugar in the Dogwood Design. Dogwood is among the oldest of all the Depression Glass Patterns. Collectors have called this pattern Apple Blossom, B Pattern, Magnolia, or Wildrose. (Kovel's Depression Glass). The dogwood blossom is the state flower for several states. Pink is the most desired color. Made from 1930 - 1934 by Macbeth Evans Glass Company. Macbeth-Evans Glass Company used the same molds for both Dogwood and Thistle. These two patterns compliment each other and collectors can combine the patterns to create an eclectic table setting. (Mauzy's Depression Glass). This is a lovely creamer and sugar that is covered with the dogwood flower. See pictures. T is even a blossom in the base. This is a lovely set for the collector or for use at the tea party. This creamer and sugar is one that you will be proud to own and use. When not in use they make a great display set. Measurements: Creamer: 3 5/8" tall to top of spout. 4 1/4" from pour spout to end of handle. 3" across. The footed base is 2 1/8" in diameter. Sugar: 5" from end of handle to end of handle. 3 3/8" tall and 3 1/4" in diameter. The footed base is 2 3/8" in diameter. Condition: Excellent. NO chips, cracks, hairlines, flakes. Doesn't look used. NO discoloration. T are small air bubbles
