Up for auction is a fantastic, 1930s Bell's Window Anti-Rattlers store advertising display box with contents which include 101 individual anti-rattler sets (if my count is correct). The patent date on this item is 1933. This box contains sets of anti rattlers that were made to slide into the sides of windows to stop rattling. Each set has 2 metal anti rattlers and directions. These sets originally sold for 5 cents each in the 1930s.The graphics on this display box are great and include 5 reasons to purchase the product. I especially like #5 "Prevents nerve strain and restless nights." I have not seen a box like this on ebay or any other web site. I found the patent for this product on google but that's it.The box is 7 inches by 7.25 inches by 1 inch. This display box has surface wear and age discoloration on the outside. There are some water stains on the back side and bottom of the box. Some of the paper on one corner is loose but can be glued. The directions on each anti rattler set have age discoloration and some old glue which was applied when the box was packed. Despite condition issues this box is a rare and interesting advertising item that would be an unusual addition to any vintage advertising collection. Please see photos for details and condition. This item is sold as is with no reserve.Payment is due through paypal within
