Front page of the New York Journal from April 17, 1935 which headlines the first Pan Am clipper flight fro m San Francisco California to Honolulu Hawaii .One of the most historic flights in commercial aviation history..... The first trans-pacific flight of a commercial aviation airliner.Please see the photos for appearance of this front-page and the close-ups of the important content.Also included is a front page from the New York Herald Tribune of November 17, 1935 which shows the giant PanAm China Clipper arriving in Oakland California to enter the transpacific service . This is a beautiful photo of the aircraft in the gravure section of the newspaper on that date.Both front pages measure a very nice displayable 17 x 22" and should look splendid when framed in an advanced Pan Am memorabilia collection.Please see the photos for appearance and condition details .Note also that the items are enclosed in archival plastic holders with archival backing boards for their preservation until framing. The plastic holders impart a glare in some spots in some of the photos as can be noted.The two items will be sent flat between two pieces of heavy cardboard."
