DESCRIPTION: Authentic Vintage 1930s Tapa or Kapa Cloth, from the Waikiki Tavern Curio Shop in Hawaii, measures approx. 56" x 13". This item once belonged to Mrs. Thelma Garden who sailed with Emma McCallum on the S. S. Lurline of the Matson Line Navigation Company on April 16, 1937 to Hawaii, returning to the United States on the S. S. Malolo of the Matson Line on May 1, 1937. Scrapbook found in Columbus, Ohio.

CONDITION: GOOD, shows wear and aging with some spotting, see photos below, includes original paper info sheet which has some residue on the back from a scrapbook mounting, the tapa cloth was found inside the scrapbook but it was not glued or attached to the book.
