JOSEPH C. CLARK WAS PRESIDENT OF THE CORRIGAN AERO CLUB AND ALSO POSTMASTER AT NATRONA HEIGHTS, AT THAT TIME PERIOD.

THE CORRIGAN AERO CLUB WAS ORIGINALLY THE ALLEGHENY VALLEY AERO CLUB AND SHORTLY AFTER DOUGLAS "WRONG WAY" CORRIGAN FLEW TO IRELAND, BY MISTAKE, (1938) THE CLUB WAS RENAMED THE CORRIGAN AERO CLUB IN HONOR OF THE MEMORY OF HIS MOTHER WHO WAS A FORMER RESIDENT OF TARENTUM, PA. THE CORRIGAN AERO CLUB FORMED TO PROMOTE AVIATION AND AERONOTICAL SCIENCE IN THE ALLEGHENY VALLEY. THE FIRST AIR SHOW WAS HELD IN 1938 AT THE NATRONA HEIGHTS AIRPORT IN PA. TO CELEBRATE THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST AIR MAIL FLIGHT MADE IN WESTERN PA, OCT. 4, 1913. PROGRAM IS IN EXCELLANT CONDITION
