This auction is for a beautiful old 1940’S STERLING silver charm bracelet with 35 charms. T are 32 STERLING PUFFED HEART charms, 1 small sterling heart locket, 1 silver plated puffed heart charm, 1 brass charm. The hearts have beautiful designs on one side and are engraved on the opposite side. Most of the hearts are engraved with a man’s name. The designs include military emblems (Army and Army Air Corp), flowers, western themes, U.S. flag, stars, butterfly, sailboat, horse shoe and 4 leaf clover, long horn steer head, spider & webb, wishbone, etc. Two of the hearts are set with small colored stones and two have colored enamal overlay. One of the hearts is inscribed with the year, 1941. The names on the charms include several initials plus Cricket, Charlie, Bert, Otis, Sallie, Pat, Wiley, Nerts, Walt, Carl, Paul, Warner, Bill, and Rube. are hand chased on one side and marked sterling on the back. One of the puff hearts has come apart and is in two pieces . The bracelet is 7 inches in length and does NOT have a clasp on it. Please email with any questions BEFORE bidding. All sales are final. I have been told that the pink and green hearts are guilloche enamels by Walter Lampl. The WL hallmark on the reverse is shown in one of the photos. T are two of the charms engraved 1941.

I have found that a third sterling heart charm on the bracelet is by Walter Lampl. It has the same WL hallmark as the two enameled hearts. This charm is the one that the front has separated from the back and would need to be repaired.
