Up for auction is a wonderful 1943 Edwin M. Knowles Utility Ware Creamer. Featuring it's famous colorful fruit design on the front and back. Showing a delicious looking red apple, yellow pear, blue grapes, and etc. T is one gold line circling around the top and one running down the back side of the handle. Measures 5 3/4" from spout to handle, 3 " in diameter on top, 2 1/2" on the bottom, and stands 3 1/2" tall. Signed on the bottom is SEMI VITREOUS, EDWIN M. KNOWLES, CHINA CO., MADE IN U.S.A., with the Numbers 43-9. Condition is good. T is one small chip on the bottom edge. (See last picture). Also one small light crack (1/2") on the top edge running down. Hard to show in picture. Very clean and shiny looking piece. No crazing or repairs. A nice addition to any vintage Knowles pottery collection. Please check out my other auctions for more of these Edwin M. Knowles pieces. I do combine auctions to save on shipping.
