PCGS authenticated and graded AU 55. Nearly all 1943 cents were struck on zinc-plated steel planchets. A few were struck on copper planchets leftover from stock intended for 1942-dated dies, and those pieces or extremely valuable. This different rarity is struck on a 90% silver, 10% copper dime planchet. Bright silver toning with a tiny dark spot left of C in CENT. The only marks are a pair of tiny pin scratches above the date. Smooth surfaces free of detractions.Year - 1943
