U.S NAVY INSTRUCTION BOOK NO. 110: 16 mm Sound Motion Picture Equipment Type "H". Holmes Projector Co. Holmes Projector Co. Chicago, circa 1943. [Prominent Manufacturer of film projectors from the silent movie era until ? ] Approx. 92 pp. 9 x 11.5 in. Ring-bound in black leattte covers. Fold-out schematics, diagrams & photographs throughout. Complete & detailed operating & care instructions. Spare parts list w/ prices. Accessory equipment including the 841-c amplifier and CIORS speaker. Also covers Type 12 projector. I was unable to specifically and accurately date the Type "H" projector which seems to have been made under exclusive contract to the Navy. The Type 12 projector, also covered in this manual and seemingly quite similar, or at least relatively contemporaneous, was indeed manufactured in 1943. This manual is in excellent condition. No tears or loose pages. Navy Lt.'s ownership marks. A little discoloration to some pages.
