For bid is a possible 1947 era, Soviet made Bayonet Dagger Fighting Knife with a dark burgundy or brown bakelite grip. This is a great dagger and seemingly somewhat rare in this condition. It is very heavy duty and in beautiful excellent condition. It appears to never have been sharpened, and likely not used for anything. The finish is fully in tact, with the exception of slight draw marks on the blade. Sheath is well fitting. It has draw marks on the blade w it has been pulled out of and replaced into the sheath. It is very sharp, including the tip. The clips on the butt of the knife work well, and smoothly. The handle is as previously ststed, bakelite, and appears to be flawless. I do not know if the sheath matches the knife or not. It has very little scratching on it, and does have the pommel guard strap and belt clip attached to the webbing. The pommel guard strap snaps closed, and has a brass button. T is a model or possibly a serial number on the butt pf the knife, 1910, on the same side of the knife, near the guard, is another symbol, which I can't decipher, photo is included. T is no date on either piece, but came with a whole bunch of other WWII uniform gear that I just bought. If you have other information to share. please let me know.
