Wicked cool is this vintage Carling’s BlackLabel illuminated sign that flashes when plugged-in. It was in my parents’ antique store inventory when they retired a few years ago, so I snagged it, having once been a Black Label drinker/enthusiast! I’ve taken plenty of photos to show you how it lights up, the old electrical cord, the original label still mostly attached to the back and the circular blue plastic piece on the back that can be moved so one can change the bulb. I said circa-1950s in my title but it very well could be older. Manufactured in thick sturdy plastic by the L.A. Goodman Company of Chicago , the display has a few cracks that I’ve shown but overall, this beauty has survived in mighty decent shape. There’s that little paint loss between the two Es of “BEER” to also point out. Measurements are eight inches top-to-bottom and ten inches side-to-side. I believe that’s all the pertinent info, but if I’ve left something out, please feel free to Email me. This’ll be a cool display at your little personal bar/den and a dandy conversational piece to boot! ……….
