This is a 7-8" unmarked sweetheart from the early 1950's with an auburn braided wig that would appear to be in original braids and pink ribbon. She has blue sleeper eyes that still work beautifully, and the lashes are full and lovely. She has an unspotted and clean hard plastic body with straight legs that is split-free, intact (with the exception of her first left finger that is missing 2/3rds of the digit) and fully jointed (neck, arms, legs), though with age, I don't wish to try her arms in a 360` or try to make her sit for fear I snap something since she feels to me to be frail. Her pretty party dress is a delicate blue taffeta with lace edging and underlay. Her pink bloomers have lost their tight elasticity, and if she's not careful could lose them down to her ankles! She is wearing again what I assume to be her original blue bowed plastic shoes. The tag on her dress reads "Fashions for "Ginger" Cosmopolitan Doll and Toy corp. Jackson Heights, NY Trade Mark" She has been on display the majority of her life judging by her appearance and condition or loved on very tenderly.
