This is the 1958 Econolite motion lamp called Hearth or sometimes Fireplace in the round format. The detailed graphics and nice animation make this a very desirable lamp. One side shows a dog sleeping on a rug infront of the fire and the reverse features a cat warming it's back by the fire. While the man in the picture gazes into the fire the lady works at a spinning wheel. The fires roar, the pot steams, the spinning wheel spins and the tea kettle gives off bursts of steam. This has long been one of my favorite lamps. This lamp is in excellent condition except for a split in the animation sleeve near the top on the seam. The 1/2 picture of the seated man shows a bright spot just above and to the right of the curtain w light from this split comes thru. Not much of a defect really but mentioned for accuracy. The outer shell is very nice, no cracks or dents. The spinner is perfect and numbers match the shade which is also signed A.B. Leech. The base is nice and shinny and has it's original socket, switch, needle rest and cord with a newer plug. Over all a very nice lamp to add to your collection.
