This is a gorgeous and unique typewriter- a Golden Shield Courier by Smith Corona. This thing could have come straight out of James Bond's Aston Martin. It's slick. Golden Shield produced several different machines for Smith Corona with these fancy details over the course of 5 years, but this model is one that does not have a direct cousin with Smith Corona. It is kind of a mix between a Silent/Skyriter/Corsair. It feels most like a Skyriter to me. It has a gold metal body with cream keys. Regular Pica typeface. Very small and light. No case. This is the first Golden Shield I have ever seen in gold. Ships safely. New ribbon, ready to type right out of the box!
