1960s VIETNAM/COLD WAR ERA US ARMY M65 FIELD JACKET COTTON SHELL XLR LITE USE

The jacket is moderately (=not excessively) used, no rips, no holes. Still nice dark OG-107 color, with little fade. One of the first series of M65s made, first version with all cotton (as opposed to the standard cotton-nylon fast drying) shell. The fabric is the same as the one used for 1960s fatigues (shirt and pants). Clean inside and out, no stains, no odors. The velcroes are all there, still strong and sticky. Both zippers (front and collar) are original SCOVILL, aluminum, the front one with very good male tape end: no need for replacement for a long time. Both draw strings are also there, in the waist and in the bottom. All original buttons are present, including those for the winter liner. If bidder needs a matching liner, I can sell it at a small nominal price under a separate arrangement.
Neck tag showing the size is quite faded, illegible. The following actual measurements render it an XLR. Actual measurements: please compare them with those of a well fitting garment of yours to determine PROPER fit! No returns for wrong size issues, PLEASE.
For metric conversions 1" inch = 2.54 cms.
shoulder to shoulder: 22"
armpit to armpit across front, laid flat: 26 1/2"
sleeve's length (neck center to cuff): 35"
neck center to bottom (full length, measured on the back): 30 1/2".
