1964 P Kennedy Half Dollar NGC PF69 Cameo WOW!! (Only 1 Higher Grade)

Up for auction is the rare 1964 P Kennedy Proof Half Dollar NGC PF69 Cameo. This is the first year of the Kennedy Half Dollar and the only year until 1992 that had a composition of 90% Silver. This is a rare and fantasic looking coin, no toning on this beauty. There is a spot on the coin to the right of the eagle on the reverse, please see picture #2! Only 1 grade (or a half of a grade in my opinion) is higher of this example and that would be the ultra cameo designation, NGC or PCGS hasn't graded a PF70 in a Kennedy until the 1970's. If your looking to build a top registry set of Kennedy's or just add this to your collection you will not be disappointed in this coin. Only 455 have been graded in PF69 Cameo!!

It was very difficult in those early proof year to strike a coin in cameo or ultra cameo, the die usually wore out after 1000 coins but they kept the dies going for thousands of coins. With the 50th Anniversary of the Kennedy half dollar in January 2014 this coin in sure to increase in value. If you're trying to buy the top grade "Ultra Cameo" you will pay $2000 or more. If you want a nice looking Kennedy in next to the highest grade that doesn't cost you top dollar then this is your Kennedy! The Kennedy pictured is the exact one you are buying!!
