1968, Barbarella, Comic Novel by J.- C. Forest: NM

This is the comic novel of Barbarella that was published shortly after the 1968 Barbarella film was released. That Paramount ® film was produced by Dino DeLaurentiis, directed by Roger Vadim and it starred Jane Fonda as Barbarella and John Phillip Law as Pygar.

Gallet and Le Terrain Vague of Paris before being adapted for the film. After the film was released, Grove Press, Inc. of New York re-published the story, which was translated from French to English by Richard Seaver. Paramount Pictures provided a publicity photograph from the film which was used for the front cover of this book.

This is a soft cover book that is 8-1/4" wide by 10-7/8" high by 1/4" thick with 68 illustrated story pages. The story and illustrations are sexually oriented. IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN.
