1968 Thruxton F2 ( won by Jochen Rindt ) + Formula Vee + Saloons

Thruxton's Easter F2 race, the circuit's first international meeting, was won by Jochen Rindt, from Jean-Pierre Beltoise and Derek Bell. Graham Hill and the works Lotus team withdrew, still coming to terms with the loss of Jim Clark at Hockenheim. Brian Muir's Falcon won the Saloons, and Austrian Gerold Pankl won the Formula Vee event.

The F2 entry included Oliver, Ahrens, Courage, Chris Williams, Chris Irwin, Pescarolo, Jo Schlesser, Chris Lambert, Peter Gethin, Alan Rees, Max Mosley, Graeme Lawrence etc.. Racing in F Vee were Pankl, Marko, Birrell, Brittan, Riedl, Hayselden, Nadin, Haysey, McGovern, Muller, Engeman etc.. Saloon race included Muir, Hobbs, Gardner, Craft, Elford, Fitzpatrick, Pierpoint, Neal, Spice, Hezemans & Goedemans in the Abarths, Brian Robinson, Tony Dean etc..

Programme : 48 pages, 215mm x 140mm. Reasonable condition, some signs of wear. Binding good, some creasing and staining, a few results and amendments entered in pencil.
