1969 Christmas Card from Elvis Presley, The Colonel

Up for your consideration today is another treasure from Peggy's personal Elvis collection!!

As you can see by the photographs, I have up for your consideration a Christmas card which Peggy received from Elvis and Colonel Tom Parker for Christmas 1969. The card is postmarked Madison, TN (the site for Col. Parker's management agency) and bears a date of December 17, 1969. The front of the card shows a picture of Mary and the baby Jesus.

The inside of the card bears the following holiday message: "May the Wonderful Spirit of Christmas Bring Joy to You and Yours. Below that is printed 'Elvis and the Colonel'. This script is in red.

The original envelope in which this card was mailed is included with. As you can see by the pictures, it is postmarked (see above) and on the back of the envelope is stamped "ALL STAR SHOWS, Box 220, Madison, Tennessee 37115" This is the address of Colonel Tom Parker's management agency. Christmas seal stamps for 1969 can also be found on the back of the envelope.

Also included in this auction is a 1970 calendar card which was enclosed in the envelope.
