1969 Topps Wacky Packages Ads #35 FISH-BONE DRESSING short perf ex-

Welcome to tedjeffrey's Wacky Packages Plus! Today, you are considering the purchase of a 1969 Topps Wacky Ads sticker card, #35 of 36, featuring "Fish-Bone" dressing. This is the "short perf" variation of the card, and it is in EXCELLENT(-) condition, with no creases. The color and gloss are nice. The corners are touched lightly . The back has a large brownish stain, and all of the die-cut perf tabs are intact (un-popped). Check out the photos of both sides, as this is the actual item you will receive.

The 1969 Wacky Ad Series was painted by Tom Sutton, on an over-sized (3.125" by 5.25") card, and featured additional artwork beside the Wacky sticker itself, so as to resemble 1960's roadside billboards. Instead of being printed on peel-off label stock, these were printed on thick gum label stock, and had to be punched out of the card, moistened and held for ten seconds in order to apply the sticker. Twenty-seven of the images were later repainted by Norm Saunders, and were reborn as the 2nd series of 1973.
