1969 Wacky Ads GUERILLA MILK #12 short perf ex-

Welcome to tedjeffrey's auctions! Today, you are considering a bid on one (1) 1969 Topps Wacky Ads sticker card, #28 of 36, featuring "Guerilla Milk" killing instant breakfast. This is the "short perf" variation of the card, and it is in EXCELLENT(-) condition with one short and one long crease. The color and gloss are nice. The corners are a bit soft . The back looks good, and all of the die-cut perf tabs are intact. Check out the photo, as this is the actual item you will receive. I will start the bidding ridiculously low, with no reserve, and let YOU decide what this card is worth!

The 1969 Wacky Ad Series was painted by Tom Sutton, on an over-sized (3.125" by 5.25") card, featuring additional artwork beside the Wacky sticker itself. Instead of being printed on peel-off label stock, these were printed on thick gum label stock, and had to be punched out of the card, moistened and held for ten seconds in order to apply the sticker. Twenty-seven of the images were later repainted by Norm Saunders, and were reborn as the "Second" series of 1973. A great history of these and all the Topps Wacky Packages is outlined at the website, along with pricing and availability guides.
