From a local estate sale is a large (over 16 feet of Model Motorting lock and joiner track with extra track) vintage (1971) #1630 Aurora Model Motoring Thunder Jet 500 Racing set for you to consider. This fun set is a transition set before Aurora went to AFX cars and track in 1972.....this set features two very good condition Original Aurora TJ 500 'Tuff Ones' hollow rivet slot cars; Blue Mclaren Elva racer and a Willy's yellow Hot Rod racer, which are cars original to this set. They perform very well (nice rubber on the tires....rear tires may not be stock and an extra set for the Elva) and provide exciting races when pitted against one another.(The Elva is a little faster) Both slot cars have never been modified in any way (no cuts or scratches) and the Willy's does have a small crack in each post but the body still attaches well.
