1977 REPLAY BASEBALL CARD SET

Up for bid are the 1977 season Replay Baseball cards issued by REPLAY Games for their Major League Baseball Game. Cards are originals published by Replay Games in 1978. You must own the Replay charts in order to use these cards. There are 26 teams and 24 to 30 players per team. There are no individual pitcher hitting cards. NL pitchers use the team pitcher hitting card. If AL pitchers have to hit, they use the AL pitcher hitting card. A handwritten copy of an AL pitcher hitter card is included since Replay did not include one with every card set. The cards are used, but in excellent condition. About 30 cards have been used more heavily than the others. They are still excellent, but off white. Pitcher Glenn Abbott has his name missing from the “A” card, but it is present on the “B” card. Cards of pitchers John Montague, Ron Schuler, and Marty Pattin have their relief durability rating cut off due to a design problem on the card. Included is a sheet with suggested lineups and games played by the starting 8 or 9. The cards were issued by REPLAY Games without team envelopes. Cards are rubber banded. Several players who played for more than one team have separate cards for each team.
