It was also the first time an All-Star Game was played outside of the United States. This Louisville Slugger bat (35" and 31.3 ounces) was issued for Carter's use in the '82 exhibition. Bat rack marks and an occasional cleat mark signify use. No ball marks appear. "1982 All-Star Game National League" is engraved into the barrel. Letter of provenance from Sandy Carter.
